fun working towards while learning and building relationships with their
fellow scouts. Community Service Projects; Helping protect and beautify

Hand and Durham Rescue Mission, organizing food drive collections to be
donated to OCIM, plus many others. FUNdraising; Our scouts participate in
many opportunities for teaching the values of earning their own way while
having fun, and to help prepare them for Boy Scouts and adulthood. Pinewood Purpose
Cub Scouting is a year-round family-oriented part of the
BSA program designed for boys who are in first through fifth grades (or are
7-10 years old). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve
the 10 purposes of Cub Scouting. 1. Character Development 2. Spiritual Growth
3. Good Citizenship 4. Sportsmanship and Fitness 5. Family Understanding 6.
Respectful Relationships 7. Personal Achievement 8. Friendly Service 9. Fun
and Adventure 10. Preparation for Boy Scouts Gatherings
Our pack 467 meets in Den meetings twice per month and a
Pack meeting is once per month. Den meetings are times for the boys on the
same rank trail to gather and work on the achievements to progress to the
next rank. Pack meetings are times when all dens gather with their parents
and leaders to celebrate and be awarded for their achievements. |
